In order for us to make quality products free from harmful materials, we did a lot of research. After months of reading and testing, we chose eco-friendly, domestically grown, soy to be our wax. Soy wax is an all-natural sustainable resource that's non-GMO.
We choose unbleached cotton. They are for the most part self trimming, however we highly recommend trimming your wicks to 1/4 inch before each burn.
We also use natural wooden wicks in our luxury line and wooden dough bowl candles.
Our fragrance oils are the most refined and free from phthalates and nitro musks. Many are infused with pure essential oils.
Follow the candle care instructions to get the most out of your purchase.
For the First Burn
For the first burn we recommend allowing the jar candle to burn for 3-4 hours for cotton wicks and 4 plus hours for wooden. This allows for a proper melt pool to form.
Trim the wick so that it is 1/4" long. Light the wick. Make sure that the wick remains centered as it burns. Once a full melt pool has been established, extinguish the flame or burn for no longer than one additional hour to preserve the life of the candle.
General Candle Care Guidelines:
Never leave a candle burning unattended.
If the wick creeps to one side, blow out the candle and re-center the wick with a tweezers.
Allow to completely cool before relighting.
Keep lit candles away from any decor (curtains) and flammable material.
Burn candle on a heat resistant surface.
Always achieve a full melt pool to ensure no tunneling occurs and zero wax is left behind as you burn your candle.
If you follow the candle care guide, you will be able to enjoy your candle longer, and save yourself some money.
